Swiss DolorClast Smart20

The new Swiss DolorClast® Smart 20 now makes radial shock wave therapy even smarter and mobility, improved treatment results and better economics. With cart and compressor – compact for maximum freedom of movement in my practice. Compressed air is used to fire a projectile within a guiding tube that strikes a metal applicator placed on the skin. The projectile generates stress waves in the applicator that transmit pressure waves into tissue. Radial shock wave therapy with the Swiss DolorClast® SMART 20  preferably addresses l indications and deep indications. Generated by the Swiss DolorClast® fulfil the criteria established in the scientific literature of shock waves to be used for treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Description

DolorClast® Smart20 act on the musculoskeletal system via a multitude of molecular and cellular mechanisms, resulting in the following main therapeutic effects:

  • Reduction in sensation of chronic pain (mediated by non-myelinated C nerve fibers)
  • Blockade of neurogenic inflammation (playing an important role in the pathogenesis of insertion tendinopathies such as tennis elbow, plantar fasciopathy, etc.)
  • Activation of mesenchymal stem cells (such as osteoblasts), thereby induction of healing
  • Release of growth factors
  • Improved blood circulation in the treated tissue
  • No medication, no injections (cortisone!)
  • No surgery
